Music & Media Ministry
Music is a powerful way of expressing our praise and worship to God. We are thankful to have many gifted musicians and vocalists who share of their gifts during our worship services. If you are interested in joining the Worship Band, Church Choir, and/or our Technical Support team, we would love to talk with you and answer any questions related to serving in these areas.
Praise Team
The Praise team is scheduled for Sunday worship, usually anywhere between two to three times a month. Ministry consists of services on Sunday at 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM. Members are also schedule for special events throughout the year.
Instrumentalist: Accompany worship singers by playing an instrument during worship or special events. Individual rehearsal time is required.Qualifications: Prior experience desirable, ability to read sheet music and/or chord charts, ability to blend musically with other instruments, possess a coachable spirit and have the ability to work in a team environment.
Vocalist: Sing in a group or as an individual during worship or special events. Individual rehearsal time is required. Qualifications: Prior experience desirable, ability to read sheet music is desirable, ability to blend vocally with other vocalists, possess a coachable spirit and have the ability to work in a team environment.
Choir: Accompany instrumentalists and vocalists during worship or special events. Individual rehearsal time is required. Qualifications: possess a coachable spirit and have the ability to work in a team environment.
Technical Support:
The Technical Support Team provides seamless audio, visual and lighting support for worship and special events.
Sound Technician: Serve as a sound technician working with the praise band, vocalists and choir on Sunday mornings. Conduct sound checks and operate sound system during worship and special events as required. Qualifications: Team player with an ear for mixing vocals and instruments. Training is provided.
Media Presentation: Serve as a technician controlling the display of song lyrics and sermon slides. Qualifications: Team player and an ability to think quickly is a plus. Training is provided.
Lighting Technician: Serve as a lighting technician working to enhance the visual effects of lighting in the sanctuary. Qualifications: Team player and an ability to think quickly is a plus. Training is provided.
